The Little Warriors scholarship program provides for children of wounded warriors to attend one of our Easterseals Child Development Centers. We understand the unique challenges and transitions military families face. Our program is committed to the individual needs of children of wounded warriors. Children have the opportunity to discover and explore in a safe, nurturing environment as they achieve school readiness.
Eligibility
- Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old of wounded warriors
Early Care and Education Programs
- Care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old
- Child Development Centers in Washington, DC; Falls Church, VA; New Carrollton, MD; and, Silver Spring, MD
- High-quality early care and education
- Professional, credentialed, and caring teachers
- Inclusionary environment
- Kindergarten readiness
- NAEYC accreditation
Monthly Saturday Center-Based Respite
- Care for children ages 6 months to 10 years old
- One Saturday a month
- Vetted volunteer matched with each child
- Engaging hands-on activities
- Lunch and nutritious snacks
