Foods and tools used in group:
- Grapes
- Carrot slices
- Bacon
- Pears
- Pear applesauce
- Strawberry yogurt
- Chocolate cupcakes
- Tools: apple peeler, hole punchers, straws (also punch holes in food), toothpicks

Carry Over from FWF:
Expand on activity from FWF Group - Make caterpillars at home with food!
- Use grapes and toothpicks to make caterpillar  
- Bacon is the leaves  
- Apples, pears 
- Pear applesauce, strawberry yogurt 
- Chocolate cupcakes
- Tools: apple peeler, hole punchers, straws also punch holes, toothpicks, spoons
* Use straws to poke holes in food like the caterpillar in the book

Foods in the book & ways to expand play around these foods:
- Apples, pears, plums, strawberries, oranges
    - Cut in half and make stamps
    - Rainbow kabobs – make color patterns on skewers with fruit/veggies to match the colors of the rainbow
          - RED – apple slices, strawberries, watermelon, cured meats (ham, salami, sausage)
          - ORANGE – orange slices, peppers
          - YELLOW - bananas, peppers, pears
          - GREEN - broccoli, asparagus, green beans, spinach, pickles
          - BLUE – blue berries
          - PURPLE - plums
          - How many colors can you eat?
- Chocolate cake/cupcakes
    - Bake cupcakes at home
          - Have ingredients ready in bowls
          - Have children pour ingredients into one big bowl
          - Have child mix ingredients
          - When done, let child decorate with frosting, sprinkles, etc.
