Nature Explorers

Focused therapy programs are intended to allow children to address their therapeutic needs and goals amongst peers working on similar goals.
In this program, an occupational therapist and speech-language pathologist will create opportunities for developing new friendships, problem solving, using imaginations, engaging in multi-sensory opportunities and developing fine motor skills.

This program brings together the therapeutic benefits of being outdoors while supporting a child's development. Outdoor sensory play opportunities encourage creativity, exploration, challenge the body and mind and promote shared joy through child-directed learning.

This older preschool program occurs outside working in the garden, going on nature walks and engaging in open-ended loose parts play. During inclement weather, activities will be held inside.

Children Who Will Benefit:

Children ages 4 - 6 years old that are not an elopement risk and are looking to form friendships. The main goal of this group will be to work on facilitating conversations and interactions with peers while engaging in play exploration outside. AAC and verbal language users are all welcome. Child should be able to follow 1-2 step directions.
