Meet the members of our 2024-2025 internship class:
Britany Beauchesne
Britany Beauchesne is completing her PhD in School Psychology at Indiana University-Bloomington. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2012 with her BA in Psychology, and received her MA in Clinical Psychology from California State University-Northridge in 2019. Britany has experience working in hospitals, schools, and additional outpatient settings. She also has administered neurodevelopmental and psychoeducational assessments, implemented school-based social and emotional interventions, and uses Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Britany’s clinical interests include assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders.
In her free time, Britany enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring new places. She is excited to be at Easterseals to continue learning and growing as a clinician while providing psychological services to children and their families.
Emily Berg
Emily Berg is completing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. In 2020, she completed her B.A. in Psychology and Neuroscience at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She then earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Spalding University in 2022. Emily has experience working in various settings such as hospitals, private practices, and community mental health centers providing neuropsychological and neurodevelopmental assessments, individual therapy, and group therapy. Her clinical interests include working with children and adolescents and their families in both intervention and assessment, especially in the area of neurodevelopmental disorders and attachment disorders.
In her free time, Emily enjoys walking and playing with her dogs, trying new coffee shops, and chasing waterfalls. She loves penguins and all things M&M. Emily is excited for her internship at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center and to continue providing mental health services to the community.
Darci Weaver
Darci Weaver is completing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Northern Arizona University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in religious studies from Arizona State University. She completed her master’s degree in psychology at Walden University with an emphasis in cultural psychology in 2010. Darci spent many years in human resources management before returning to school to complete her doctorate. Through her graduate training, Darci has worked in therapy and neuropsychological private practices that serve children and adolescents. She has experience administering neuropsychological assessments and conducting individual therapy. Darci’s clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopment disorders.
Darci is an Arizona native. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, weightlifting, hiking, baking, and spending time with her husband and pets. Darci is looking forward to her year at Easterseals and continuing to grow as a clinician.
