Easter Seals Louisiana Awarded Contract For Transitional Housing Services in Greater New Orleans Area

Easter Seals Louisiana has been awarded a contract to provide case management services and rental assistance to twenty-two (22) formerly homeless persons in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes.

Easter Seals Louisiana has been awarded a contract to provide case management services and rental assistance to twenty-two (22) formerly homeless persons in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes. 

Services will be provided under the Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) model. The goal of these services will be to assist those coming into the program obtain and maintain stable housing. The persons served will be referred through a coordinated assessment system administered by UNITY of Greater New Orleans, the lead agency managing the homeless Continuum of Care for New Orleans and Jefferson Parish.  To qualify, persons served must have a verifiable disability or substance abuse disorder.
