Superheroes in Training - Sensory, Strength, and Teamwork Adventures: Ages 4-10

Superheroes in Training is an action-packed program designed to help children unlock their inner superheroes while building essential developmental skills. The program focuses on refining vital movement skills such as jumping, running, and balancing, during superhero-themed activities that enhance sensory skills and gross motor development.

Each week, experienced Physical or Occupational Therapists lead various fun and dynamic exercises tailored to their individual needs and abilities. Children engage in creative play that improves their sensory processing abilities, helping them better understand and interact with the world around them. These activities stimulate different senses, promoting body awareness and coordination. In addition, young superheroes-in-training create their own super sensory pack—a personalized set of tools and items they can use to help manage sensory input and support their development.

Teamwork is a core component of "Superheroes in Training," encouraging children to work together to solve problems, complete challenges, and support each other, just like a team of superheroes. Through these collaborative activities, kids develop strong communication and social skills, learning the importance of listening, sharing, and cooperating with their peers.

After completing Superheroes in Training, children will be proud to have gained new abilities, increased confidence, and practical skills and resources to use in daily life.
