From now through Election Day on November 5th, Easterseals is collaborating with Lyft to help address the critical transportation barriers that people with disabilities face when trying to vote. Through the Lyft Up Voting Access Program, Lyft will provide free and discounted ride codes to polling locations for people with disabilities served by more than 20 Easterseals Affiliates across the country, making it easier for these voters to access polling locations.

Kendra Davenport, President and CEO of Easterseals, stated, “Voting is a fundamental right, and our collaboration with Lyft will help remove transportation barriers to help ensure that all individuals, regardless of ability, can participate in our democracy.”

“Every American citizen should be able to get to the polls to exercise their right to vote,” said Jerry Golden, Lyft Chief Policy Officer. Lyft is proud to leverage our voting access program as a force for good in communities across the country.”
