Easterseals New York - Story Avenue Child Development Center

The Easterseals NY Story Avenue Child Development Center, located at 1530 Story Avenue, provides 3-K for all and Pre-K for all students ages 3 to 4 years old. We are funded by the New York City Department of Education.

The Center follows the NYC Department of Education curriculum with additional support provided by the Division of Early Childhood Education. We are licensed by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

FERPA - The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act

FERPA is the federal law that gives parents the right to access their child’s education records, the right to have their child’s education record amended and some control over the release of personally identifiable information found in the child’s education record. When the child turns 18 years or enters post-secondary education, these rights transfer to the child.
