Cirella Scott- Early Intervention Supervisor

Cirella Scott joined Easterseals in Fall of 2022 as an Early Intervention Specialist. She graduated from University of Maryland with her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences. She also recently graduated from Arizona State University with a Master’s Degree in Family and Human Development. Cirella loves to work with families and watch them work hard to achieve their goals during such critical years. She has seen firsthand the benefits of early intervention for children and strives to help parents meet the needs from an early age. Cirella has known her passion of working with children from early on and continues to follow her dreams of making a difference in the lives of children and families. After recently relocating to South Carolina, she worked for Berkeley County School District/Berkeley County First Steps as a Parent Educator/Home Visitor. Cirella is married to her husband of 12 years (together 16) and has three amazing children. On her off time, she enjoys traveling, relaxing at the beach, spending time with her family, reading, working out and hiking.



Katherine Blanchard

Katherine was born and raised in Charleston, SC and earned her Bachelors degree in Sociology at Flagler College in Saint Augustine, FL. She spent a portion of her education focusing on early childhood development and autism studies. She has been working with children as early as 12 years old, and has recently been a professional nanny after getting her degree. She has a passion for making sure all children have an equal opportunity in life, and that every child should be given the resources needed to live, learn, and be a kid! She also loves to create sensory activities to encourage development. Katherine is an at home cake decorator/baker, and enjoys making flower arrangements, and loves all types of animals!




Marie Armoogam

Marie Armoogam is ecstatic to join Easterseals.  She is from Charleston and obtained an undergraduate degree in Counseling at Johnson University in Knoxville, TN.  She spent her senior year internship under a Elementary School Psychologist which ignited her desire to work with children in small groups or one on one setting.  Most recently, she worked in early education in the local school district which cultivated her understanding in the importance of a supportive role in a child’s life.  Marie shares a passion in working alongside families to encourage growth in each child.  For as long as she remembers she has connected to the heart of children and believes her mission is to advocate and work for children.  “Every child deserves someone who they know truly cares and wants the best for them and I am honored to assist in this way.”  Marie has a husband who works in Law Enforcement and 3 precious children of her own. She enjoys family walks/ bike rides in her neighborhood and serving in her church.




Liz Meunier

Liz Meunier

Liz Meunier graduated from Charleston Southern University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology in May of 2024. She joined Easterseals right after graduating and getting married. Prior to working with Easterseals, Liz was a part time nanny and babysitter, where she gained confidence working with children of all ages and gained a passion for working with families. She looks forward to gaining experience through Easterseals. Aside from work, Liz volunteers at her church, loves spending time outside, and loves dogs!



Peyton Brown- Service Coordinator

Peyton graduated from The University of Alabama in 2019, majoring in communication disorders with a minor in human development. She is currently working on obtaining a masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. Out of college, she has gotten to work with and help children in all different fields. She was a former Registered Behavior Technician and then worked in the mental health field. She grew up in Huntsville, AL and recently moved to Charleston, SC after living in Nashville, TN for 2 1/2 years. Her love for helping children continues to grow. In her free time, she loves to take her golden retriever to the beach, try new restaurants, and travel!





Annie Baker- Family Trainer

Annie Baker is an Early Intervention Family Trainer at Easterseals. She graduated from the College of Charleston in 2020 with a degree in early childhood education.  She started teaching ages 1-3 at a Montessori school in Charleston that fall. She was always drawn to the children with special needs in her class and truly realized her passion for working with them. She is so excited to be working with Easterseals.
