Meet The Staff

Jo-Anna C

Jo-Anna also has been with Easter Seals since October 2009. “Easter Seals has taught me a lot of Patience. I love coming to work every day and interacting with the clients. My favorite days at Easter Seals are days when we have our ‘Shake it off’ dance activity and the Christmas party we had.” In her spare time Jo-Anna loves to shop, and do things with her daughter Angelina.

Regina H

Another staff that has been with Easter Seals since October of 2009 is Regina H. She was introduced to the opportunity to work for Easter Seals by Nikki K. from ACE IT I. “I absolutely love coming to work every day. I love knowing that I get to go to work to help people. I love all the clients and they each have taught me something different, especially patience.” In her spare time Regina likes to be active and play sports, especially basketball, softball, volleyball and has taken a new interest in soccer. She also likes to cook, listen to music, partake in numerous forms of art, and do things with her daughter Andrea.

Don H

Originally from Illinois, Don has been with Easter Seals for 22 years. He first started with Easter Seals working the summer camp, Camp Harmon. He became full-time in 1988 at the work center and later transferred to ACE IT II. “I like working at Easter Seals because I like giving people different experiences both fun and educational. I don’t work at Easter Seals for the money, I do it because I love working here and love working with the people I work with.” In Don’s spare time he likes researching his genealogy and has traced his family all the way back to 1520. He was lucky enough to find out he is related to William Penn. He also likes to ride his bike.

Lorisha W

Lorisha is another staff member that has been with Easter Seals since October of 2009, and found out about Easter Seals from a walk in. “I just walked in and applied.” In her spare time Lorisha likes to cook and go shopping. Her favorite thing to cook is Soul Food. She loves to teach hygiene class and enjoys everyday that she gets to come to work and work with the clients.

Aaron S

Aaron has been with Easter Seals for 2 years, starting in July of 2008. “I work at Easter Seals because I want to. I like working with the clients and being able to interact with them on a daily basis. I want to create awareness in the community about people with disabilities and how they are the same as you or I. “I give my all on a daily basis at work.” Aaron loves to take trips to Seattle and riding his mountain bike. He also enjoys playing Call of Duty on his Xbox 360.

James K

Jim has been with Easter Seals since September 4th, 2007. He originally worked at FILS, but transferred to ACE IT II in September of 2009. “I get great pleasure in working with the consumers.” Jim is a sports fanatic! He loves the Boston Celtics and Oakland Raiders. His favorite soccer team is Manchester United. Jim is originally from Kenya and came to the U.S. when he was 18. In his spare time Jim likes to play sports, listen to music, he also does some DJ work, and he likes to hang out with friends.
