Anja Herrman

Disability Advocate and Researcher

Anja K. Herrman is a dedicated researcher and advocate for disability rights. Her previous research has centered on the active shooter response protocols in K-12 schools, particularly concerning disabled students. Additionally, Herrman serves as a research advisor for the Behavioral Stratified Treatment Program (BEST project) at the University of Illinois, Chicago, which explores mental health care access for disabled teens. Currently, she is pursuing a degree in public policy.
