ABA Coaching Services

for parents of children with Autism

Easterseals offers a FREE opportunity for parents who want to learn how Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy can benefit their child with autism. Available to residents of Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe and Pike counties. Programa ofrecido en español e inglés.

Who is a good fit for the program?

  • Families with a child who is newly diagnosed with autism.
  • Families who are on wait lists for Behavioral Health Services.

What to expect:
One-hour long session a week for six weeks by teleconference.
Session include:

  • Introduction to ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis).
  • Learn what autism is and how it relates to ABA.
  • Verbal behaviors and communication strategies.
  • The basics of ABCs and the functions of behavior.
  • ABA techniques for common behaviors.
  • A personalized plan of available services.

Parent's role:

  • Attend all scheduled sessions.
  • Be on time and prepared to participate in the training sessions.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and questionnaires.
