Easterseals is devoted to helping improve the lives of children with autism and their families. For example, we offer free autism diagnostic clinics to children, mostly under age three, to provide access to a diagnosis as early as possible. For Peyton, receiving therapy and intervention early made a world of difference. She was nonverbal at age two when she began receiving speech and occupational therapy from Easterseals. Before her third birthday, she was independently speaking and communicating, engaging more with people and clearly making her needs known.
