Be a part of the 2025 Easterseals Telethon FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 5AM-7 PM (Central Time)! Be a sponsor, plan to make a donation, and tune in! The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center will serve as the backdrop for the Telethon, which will air on ABC 25/CW 7 for the 48th consecutive year. Also catch additional coverage on the Easterseals and ABC 25/CW 7 Facebook pages.
Members of the Eyewitness News team will host the LIVE broadcast on ABC 25, the only station in the U.S. known to donate 100% of all production and airtime for a local Easterseals Telethon. The final hour of the show will be simulcast live on both ABC25 and The CW 7.
The community is encouraged to tune in throughout the day for interviews with local children, adults and families served by Easterseals, special video segments, and local groups “competing” to raise funds. Special guests will include local Easterseals Ambassadors sharing their stories.
Radio stations from Townsquare Media, including 99.5 WKDQ, MY 105.3, 103 GBF, KISS 106, Newstalk 1280 AM, 92.5 WBKR, and 1490 AM / 99.1 FM WOMI, will broadcast LIVE from the Telethon throughout the day. Listeners will hear exclusive interviews with clients, supporters, and more!
The goal for this year’s Telethon is to share the Easterseals mission, celebrate the impact of the organization in the community, and encourage donations. All funds raised will help to provide inclusive early education and essential therapy services for local children and adults with disabilities.
