Don't miss the first annual New Orleans Beard and Mustache Championships. Local celebrity judges, bands, comedy and (most importantly) the celebration of facial hair in the Crescent City.

Judges include representatives from: Aidan Gill, Fleurty Girl, The New Movement, Louisiana Beard plus Boyfriend
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Easter Seals Louisiana's disability services.
Catagories include:
Full Beard Natural (8" or longer) - An uninterrupted beard from sideburn to sideburn, including mustache than measures 8 inches or more from the bottom lip to where the beard terminates.
Full Beard Natural (under 8") - An uninterrupted beard from sideburn to sideburn, including mustache than measures less than 8 inches from the bottom lip to where the beard terminates.
Partial Beard - Sideburns/Chops, Goatees, and Fu Manchus all welcome!
Beard Freestyle - Anything goes! No rules!
Natural Mustache - Only mustache measured 1.5 cm from edge of mouth. No styling aides. May be brushed or combed.
Styled Mustache - Only Mustache measured 1.5 cm from edge. Styling Aides allowed.
Whiskerina (Ladies Faux Hair) - Ladies category, beard or mustache, creative or realistic. No
rules other than it must be able to rest on the face without using hands.
