WORCESTER, Mass. – Easterseals Massachusetts is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members to its statewide Board of Directors. State Board members contribute their expertise to committees and task forces focused on governance, finance, investment, fundraising, programs, and technology. Together, they work to advance the organization’s mission to ensure that children and adults with disabilities have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play.
Jason Cort, of Boston, Mass., is an avid golfer and a passionate advocate for The Bridge Center, Easterseals Massachusetts' 22-acre accessible recreational, camp, and equestrian property in Bridgewater, Mass. Cort holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Ithaca College. He serves as Vice President at AIS CRE in Natick, Mass., and is involved with multiple community organizations.
Maureen Goldin, of Concord, Mass., was introduced to Easterseals Massachusetts through a colleague at Microsoft, where she serves as Senior Director of Customer Success for Life Sciences and Pharma. Goldin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University. Goldin is a proud mother of two and enjoys spending quality time with her children.
Olivia Thompson, of Boxboro, Mass., became familiar with Easterseals Massachusetts through her internship with the organization’s Youth Services department as part of the Comcast NBCUniversal Digital Literacy and Employment Program. Thompson remains committed to the organization’s #TeachDisabilityHistory campaign where she is an active committee member and helps advance that program through community presentations and events. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production from Dean College and is passionate about sports, music, television, and film.
Heather Whitney, of Jefferson, Mass., is Vice President of Strategy & Sustainability at R.H. White Companies. She first became familiar with the Easterseals Massachusetts mission as a child, attending annual softball fundraisers where her father participated. Whitney earned her Bachelor of Science from Bryant College and holds PHR and SPHR certifications. Passionate about supporting community nonprofits, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and engaging in outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and skiing, on water and snow.
