Autism is a complex neurobiological disorder that affects communication, social behavior, and development. Autism affects 1 in 36 children in the United States, but, with early diagnosis, intervention, and behavioral techniques, children with autism can live full, engaging lives in the community.
Our team creates individualized plans to develop and improve communication and social skills while troubleshooting problem behaviors. Our services include parent training, family support groups, and community-integration.
Parents of children with autism and other disabilities can often feel lost, confused, or overwhelmed. Our Family Navigation program ensures that families will not be alone during difficult times. We help support and guide families from birth to adulthood by helping to navigate services, supporting with transitional milestones throughout life, and explaining and connecting families to resources, services, and funding streams. Our Family Navigators are here to support families and answer any questions they may have.
We provide support and issue-specific behavior training for families. Our two-week Parent Training program includes group instruction, individual sessions, and guided observation.
Our therapies are designed to improve your child’s ability to engage and participate in family activities and daily routines.
We provide families with a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy social activities. Teens and young adults can register for our social groups in order to build friendships and develop their social skills.
PEERS® is an evidence-based program in which individuals are engaged in learning real-life skills for connecting with others, as well as building and maintaining friendships.
Offered in Southeast, Southwest, and Central regions.
Through a customized approach, individuals with autism work with our staff to achieve their social and communication goals as they build friendships and develop social skills.
