Kinship Summer Camp
Are you a grandparent or older adult relative (age 55+) raising a child (age 5-10) and serving as their primary caregiver, but are not their parent?
Easterseals, with the support of Direction Home of Eastern Ohio, is offering a free summer camp to provide respite for kinship families.
Registration for 2025 will be announced in March.
Kinship Camp Criteria:
1. Child is being raised by an older adult relative age 55 or older , who is not the parent.
2. Child is between the ages of 5-10.
3. Child is fully potty trained.
4. Caregiver can attend an informational meeting on the first day of camp.
Transportation options are available for children living in Youngstown. Lunch and snacks are provided daily.
