Pre-Employment Skills Training (Pre-ETS)
Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) and are designed to give students opportunity through early career exploration and occupational exposure to make informed decisions that will maximize their ability to enter competitive integrated employment. Instructional Pre-ETS are provided to students with disabilities as part of their transition from high school to post-secondary education and/or employment.
There are six required Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS):
- Job Exploration Counseling
- Work Based Learning
- Counseling on Post-Secondary Opportunities
- Workplace Readiness Training
- Instruction in Self-Advocacy
- Getting Ready for Opportunities in Work (GROW) Program Summer Academy
