Easterseals Washington has announced the opening of its new Green Tree Child Development Center, located at 1200 6th Avenue South, Suite 200, in downtown Seattle. The center offers convenient access from I-5 and provides a nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to Pre-K.

The Green Tree Child Development Center operates year-round from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering a range of services designed to support the developmental needs of young children. The center features a secure outdoor playground and an adjacent park, ensuring children have ample opportunities for outdoor play and exploration.

"We are thrilled to bring our high-quality early childhood services to downtown Seattle," said Cathy Bisaillon, President & CEO of Easterseals Washington. "Our inclusive program is designed to help children develop attitudes of tolerance, acceptance, and mutual respect, while providing parents with peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe and supportive environment."

The center offers breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, all prepared onsite following USDA meal pattern guidelines. The curriculum is based on the Creative Curriculum, which supports the development of critical early learning skills.
Easterseals Washington is committed to empowering people with disabilities, their families, and communities to reach their full potential. The Green Tree Child Development Center is an extension of this mission, providing essential services and support to children of all abilities.

About Easterseals Washington

Easterseals Washington has been helping children and adults with disabilities and their families reach their full potential since 1947. Our programs include:

Camp Stand By Me gives children and adults with disabilities the chance to experience the joys of camp in an accessible environment, and caregivers a break to recharge their own batteries.

Olympic Peninsula Autism Center helps children with autism reach their full potential through positive behavior therapy. Working with therapists, children learn to communicate with their families and build skills to help them succeed in school and life.

Inclusive Child Development Centers teach and care for children with and without disabilities side-by-side, giving them the tools they need to start school on time and develop attitudes of self-esteem, tolerance, and inclusion at an early age.

Workforce Development helps adults with disabilities achieve self-reliance and independence through paid employment.

Adult Day Health & Social Programs give adults with disabilities an energetic place to socialize during the day and provide essential health screenings, assistive technology labs, and exercise classes.
