Easterseals of Western and Central Pennsylvania’s schools have been educating and providing therapy services to students with special needs in the Pittsburgh area since 1961.  We specialize in working with children during the most critical and formative ages of 3 to 8 years who have complex medical diagnoses. In fact, Easterseals is on the State’s list of Approved Private Schools (A.P.S.) in Pennsylvania.  It’s an important distinction that means we are licensed by the PA Department of Education and the PA Bureau of Private Academic Schools. As you examine the educational possibilities for your child, you will find that not all schools have an A.P.S. status.
