What do we ask our Easter Seals Volunteers to do?

Assist Easter Seals staff and/or participants during recreational or educational activities in our Youth and Adult Respite Programs, and our Understanding Differences Education Workshop. -
Work with Easter Seals staff to occasionally perform office or administrative tasks associated with the operation of our programs and services.

Help with planning for Easter Seals fundraising efforts such as Walk With Me.

Participate as an Easter Seals intern. Internships may involve direct contact with our programs or may support administrative staff. We provide supervision and will support the requirements of the student’s school.

Encourage the creativity and independence of all participants.

Volunteer requirements:
- Must be 16 years of age or older. Volunteers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Once your application and background check is completed, our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to create a Volunteer Schedule based on the current volunteer opprtunities and your interests.
